Dr El Hadji FALL
Dr. El Hadji FALL has been the UNDP Economic Advisor for Madagascar and Comoros since 2016. He was previously Economic Advisor in Benin from 2012 to 2016. Before that, he was Regional Technical Advisor, specializing in Macro-Budgeting Framework, at the Pole Development Strategy and public finances of the UNDP Regional Service Center in Dakar from 2008 to 2012. Before joining UNDP, Mr. Fall was a researcher at the University of Wageningen (Netherlands) from 2006 to 2008. El Hadji Fall has taught extensively in macroeconomics, mathematics, international economics, and environmental and development economics at the universities of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas and at Wageningen University (Netherlands) from 2001 to 2008. Mr. Fall has supported, among others, African countries for more than a decade, in the development of their economic policy tools, the designing of their development strategies, the improvement of their planning and monitoring system, the implementation of the reforms of their public finance system and the development of their statistical capacities. El Hadji is a committed player in the service of the development of Africa in search of innovative solutions to the challenges of the continent.
