Nicolas Kazadi, Minister of Finance of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC)
Ambassador Nicolas Kazadi is the Minister of Finance of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Before that, he was a senior economist at the United Nations Development Programme. He was previously an economic advisor and head of the strategy for Guinea, Côte d’Ivoire, Madagascar, and Togo. A former executive of the Central Bank of the DRC, he was a team member responsible for designing and implementing the country’s monetary reforms in 1998. Kazadi is the author and co-author of many works relating to the economy, poverty reduction, and governance. Among them is "La lutte contre la corruption en Afrique: défis et enjeux", published in 2008.
